Infectious Diseases Research (IDR) Project

  Infectious Diseases Research (IDR) Project aims to consolidate the infectious disease research capabilities within the institute, and foster cross-unit collaboration in the development of relevant detection technologies, drugs, antibodies, vaccines, and understanding pathogenic mechanisms. IDR Project also provides interdisciplinary laboratory support, such as molecular structural biology, antibody development, animal models, and P3 laboratories, to establish a comprehensive environment for epidemic research and development, enhancing overall research capabilities.

 

  Key platform technologies, samples and biological materials, cells and animals for disease models, optimized protocols, and data that are collected and established under IDR project will be deposited and preserved for long-term maintenance at the National Biotechnology Research Park as a critical national resources for emerging infectious disease prevention and control.
