- Applicants for the Monograph Award must hold full-time positions at domestic academic research institutions or at public or private universities or colleges. Applicants must have been engaged in teaching or research in the humanities or social sciences for at least two full years. Retirees meeting the aforementioned requirements are also eligible to apply. Works submitted for the 2025 Monograph Award shall be first editions of scholarly monographs published between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2024. Submitted monographs may be written in languages other than Chinese. Each year, a maximum of five monographs are granted this award. Each awardee will be given a prize of NT$600,000 and a medal.
- Applicants should submit their applications online at（https://asms.sinica.edu.tw/en）between March 1 and March 31, 2025. Overdue applications will not be processed.
- Three printed copies of the monograph shall be sent to the Department of Academic Affairs and Instrument Service, Academia Sinica.
