A total of 20 Grand Challenge Seed Program applications were received this year (4 from the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences; 5 from the Division of Mathematics and Physical Sciences; 11 from the Division of Life Sciences). Of the 20 applications, 7 were approved during the First-round and Second-round Review meetings, including 2 from the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences, 2 from the Division of Mathematics and Physical Sciences and 3 from the Division of Life Sciences.
